Maryland has taken it to No. 10 Ohio State so far.
The Terrapins are hosting the Buckeyes on ABC and RB Anthony McFarland has done a bulk of the damage.
On his first 3 carries, the freshman amassed 155 yards rushing thanks to an 81-yard run and another 75-yard run to follow. Outside of those 2, he’s had a tough time getting going, but that’s because of the attention Ohio State’s defense is now paying him.
In the first quarter alone, McFarland totaled 153 yards on 4 carries with his 2 TD.
Anthony McFarland has 153 rushing yards, the most by any FBS player in the first quarter of a game this year.
