The University of Maryland’s athletic department has released the latest results from its COVID-19 testing.

On Wednesday, Maryland announced that it conducted 185 tests that included student-athletes, coaches and other athletic staff members. According to the latest reports, only three individuals tested positive for the virus.

Per Maryland, the tests were conducted on July 14-15.

With the most recent rounds of test complete, Maryland has now conducted 545 screenings and has received 12 positive results. The school was one of many who opened its athletic facility doors to student-athletes as preparations for the fall sports seasons began following the NCAA lifted its moratorium on organized team activities on June 1.

The three individuals who tested positive for the virus were informed of the screening results and are currently in self-isolation, monitored by health officials.
