Maryland received some huge news on New Year’s Eve. One of the team’s top offensive linemen will be returning for the 2022 season.

Jaelyn Duncan announced on Friday that he’ll be returning to College Park for the 2022 campaign. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive lineman was expected to declare for the 2022 NFL Draft after receiving back-to-back All-B1G honorable mention recognition the past two seasons.

Duncan sent out a tweet saying “I’m not done,” on Friday.

Duncan has started in 27 career games with the Terrapins. He played a critical role with the Terrapins during a 7-6 season that ended with a win over Rutgers in the regular season finale and a victory over Virginia Tech in the Pinstripe Bowl.

It was Maryland’s first postseason win since 2010.

With Duncan returning, Maryland has a chance to bring back all starting offensive linemen, as well as star quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa and receivers Rakim Jarrett and Dontay Demus Jr.
