The number of players entering into the NCAA transfer portal continues to rise as time progresses. The latest addition to the transfer portal is Maryland tight end Malik Jackson, who is looking to create a spark with a new program.

Jackson played 5 games for Maryland from 2019 to 2020. He caught1e reception for 20 yards in his entire career at Maryland.

Jackson was recruited as a three-star tight end in the 2019 National Recruiting Class. He was the 87th best tight end and the 30th best player in the according to 247SPorts Composite.

Maryland was one of four total collegiate programs to offer a spot to play college football. Uconn was the only other Division I program to offer Jackson as a high school prospect.
