The Maryland Terrapins have officially announced their non-conference schedule for basketball and released an update regarding fan attendance for the upcoming season.

Maryland will not be allowing any fans to start the season according to the university’s official website. However, the full statement detailed a virtual fan experience that will be on sale for fans:

The season will begin with no fans in attendance at XFINITY Center. This is done out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our student-athletes and fans. We are hopeful that we may be able to welcome some fans to XFINITY Center as the season progresses and health conditions permit.

As a result, Maryland is proud to announce a new initiative called theĀ Maryland Basketball Virtual Sellout, which will give fans the opportunity to purchase a seat, row, section, or courtside seat at XFINITY Center while providing exclusive commemorative items and access. The goal is to sell all 17,950 seats at XFINITY Center.

As for the non-conference games, here is what the schedule looks like for the Terps:

  • Nov. 25 – vs Old Dominion (season opener)
  • Nov. 27 – vs Navy
  • Nov. 29 – vs Mount Saint Mary’s
  • Dec. 1 – vs Monmouth
  • Dec. 4 – vs George Mason
  • Dec. 9 – at Clemson (B1G/ACC Challenge)
  • Dec. 22 – vs La Salle

There’s been no official word regarding their Big Ten conference schedule thus far.
