Maryland will debut new all-black script uniforms this season.

Maryland previously showed off the black helmet on Monday night, but this is fans’ first chance to see the full set. The Terps will wear these uniforms against Virginia on Friday, Sept. 15.

The Terps gave fans a first look at the new digs on Tuesday morning:

Maryland’s new uniforms will be on display for a national audience. The Terps and Virginia will play on FS1 on Friday night of Week 3. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

This will be an important game for Maryland as Mike Locksley’s squad is looking to reach bowl eligibility for the 3rd straight season. Maryland hasn’t made the postseason 3 years in a row since 2006-08.

Maryland is likely to be a heavy favorite against the Cavaliers. The Terps return one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten in Taulia Tagovailoa while UVA has struggled to generate momentum in the early part of the Tony Elliott era.

Maryland will host Towson in its season-opener on Sept. 2.
