Maryland’s women’s basketball team could give the B1G two squads in the Elite Eight with a victory Sunday night.

Saturday night, No. 4 seed Indiana upset top-seeded North Carolina State 73-70 to be the first B1G team to reach the Elite Eight. The other two teams from the conference, Iowa and Michigan, both lost their games and were eliminated from the field.

The Terrapins, a No. 2 seed this year, will take on No. 6 seed Texas at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. Maryland enters the game as a 13-point favorite.

Maryland is 26-2 on the season, winning the B1G Tournament by defeating Iowa 104-84. It reached the Sweet 16 after defeating No. 15 seed Mt. St. Mary’s 98-45 and taking down No. 7 seed Alabama 100-64.

With a win over the Longhorns, the Terps would play the winner of No. 1 seed South Carolina vs. No. 5 seed Georgia Tech with a trip to the Final Four on the line on Tuesday night.
