It was a tough start to the season after the Terps got crushed 43-3 by Northwestern, but they’re feeling pretty darn good about themselves now.
In Maryland’s win today, quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa went 18/26 for 282 yards and had three passing touchdowns. It’s been a complete 18o from him after that rough first game as he now has six passing touchdowns and just one interception in his last two games.
Running back Jake Funk also was great for Maryland today. He had 16 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown while averaging five yards a carry.
Their best receiver today was Rakim Jarrett as he had five receptions for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
Up next for Maryland is a date with Ohio State next Saturday. The game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be shown on the Big Ten Network.
