Mike Locksley announces addition of former boss to Maryland staff
Mike Locksley is still adding to his coaching staff with the Terrapins.
Locksley is heading into his first season as head coach at Maryland, and he announced the addition of a former head coach to his staff Wednesday. The addition is none other than Ron Zook, a coach Locksley previously worked for during Zook’s stints as head coach at Florida and Illinois.
Zook’s last collegiate coaching experience came in 2011 while at Illinois. He has worked in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers since 2014.
Locksley announced Zook will be working as an analyst with the special teams and defense:
Maryland coach Mike Locksley announced that Ron Zook, his former boss at Florida and Illinois, will join the staff in College Park as a Senior Analyst working with defense and special teams.

The Terrapins will kick off the 2019 season on August 31 against Howard.
