Mike Locksley explains 'no BCE' mantra for Terrapins heading into 2021
Media Days in the B1G is upon us, and Maryland head coach Mike Locksley was among the first to take the podium in Indianapolis.
The 2021 season should be a big one for Locksley and the program as he enters his third season leading the Terrapins. Maryland does return some key players at key positions though did lose running back Jake Funk and linebacker Chase Campbell from the 2020 season.
Among his remarks, Locksley included his mantra for the Terps this season. He listed it as “no BCE’s: no bitching, no complaining, and no excuses.”
Locksley went on to say that the program is where it needs to be entering Year 3, but everyone connected to the team has a job to do. That includes being disciplined from himself all the way down to the players.
Mike Locksley: It’s exciting times for us on and off the field.
Talks about new facilities at Maryland. Says Year 3 is about taking the next step.
