DJ Durkin’s fence around the DMV — especially DeMatha Catholic — got a little sturdier on Sunday night.
Four-star DeMatha Catholic product Marcus Minor announced that he’s coming to Maryland in 2017. The 6-5, 290-pound guard made the announcement on the local Comcast affiliate:

Minor is rated the No. 13 guard and the No. 5 Maryland recruit in the 2017 class. He chose the Terps over the likes of Auburn, Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Virginia Tech and Rutgers, and became the fifth DeMatha recruit to commit to Durkin since he took over in December.
He’s the sixth four-star recruit in Durkin’s first full recruiting class — all of which have DMV ties — and the second four-star offensive lineman.
Maryland’s 2017 class is now up to No. 17 overall and No. 3 in the B1G according to the 247sports composite.
