Mosiah Nasili-Kite, a Maryland DL transfer, has decided to make his new home in the SEC. According to reports, Nasili-Kite will be headed south after committing to Auburn.

The 6-foot-2 and 310-pound DL committed to the Tigers on Saturday after completing an official visit to the school this weekend.

The graduate transfer has one season of eligibility remaining after spending the last three seasons as a Terrapin. In his freshman season in 2019, Nasili-Kite played for Independence Community College in Kansas.

In his three years with Maryland, the DL appeared in 27 games. During his junior year in 2021, he recorded 37 tackles, including 7 for loss, 4 sacks, and had 2 passes defended. In his senior campaign this season, Nasili-Kite played in 12 games for the Terrapins, while collecting 26 tackles, 18 solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack.

We’ll see what Nasili-Kite is able to bring to Auburn during Hugh Freeze’s first season with the program.
