Report: Maryland hires tight ends coach from LSU's coaching staff

Matt Canada won’t be the only former LSU coach on the Terps staff in 2018.

Maryland is reportedly hiring former Tiger analyst Dave Bucar to serve as the team’s tight ends coach. Bucar should be a real asset to the program’s new offensive coaching staff, as he has been with the team’s new offensive coordinator the last two seasons — both as an analyst.

News of this hiring was first reported by Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated.

Bucar coached at Pitt in from 2015-16 and at Tiffin University in 2013 and 2014.
