Rice did this against the Chicago Bears in 1987 and the Minnesota Vikings in 1995. For Diggs, this was his 2nd Monday Night Football game with 3 touchdowns. His 1st 3-touchdown game came against the New England Patriots on Dec. 28, 2020.
Diggs recorded 12 receptions, 148 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns in the Bills’ 41-7 win over the Tennessee Titans. His performance helped put the game away for the Bills and it turned out to be a convincing win for the Bills.
In 2 games this season, Diggs has 20 catches, 270 yards, and 4 touchdowns. He is 2nd in receptions, 2nd in receiving yards, and 1st in receiving touchdowns. He has been one of the best receivers in the NFL and he is off to a great start in 2022.
This is Diggs’ 3rd season with the Bills and he is looking to help bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo. The Bills have reached the playoffs in 3 consecutive seasons.
The Bills will be on the road in Week 3 against Miami Dolphins.
