Tai Felton has been on a tear to start the 2024 season.

The Maryland wide receiver now has 4 consecutive games with 100+ receiving yards, which is the most in program history to start a season. His latest game came in Week 4 against Villanova.

In Week 1, Felton caught 7 passes for 178 yards and 2 TDs against UConn. Then, in Week 2, the WR caught 11 passes for 152 yards and 1 TD against Michigan State.

Last weekend, against Virginia, Felton caught 9 passes for 117 yards and 1 TD.

Well, in Week 4, Felton had his busiest day yet. Against FCS Villanova, Felton caught a whopping 14 passes for 157 yards and 1 TD. Felton’s incredible performance has helped the Terrapins get a 38-13 lead with just over 4 minutes to go in the game.

Felton was a productive receiver in 2022 and 2023 as well, but nothing close to the level he’s been at in 2024. In 2022, Felton caught 23 passes for 309 yards and 2 TDs. Last season, the WR caught 48 passes for 723 yards and 6 TDs.

Even before the Week 4 game, Felton was on pace to easily set career highs in receptions and receiving yards. Felton already had 27 catches for 447 yards before this game kicked off. Adding the 14 passes Felton caught today, the talented WR is only 7 receptions behind his entire 2023 total after just 4 games.

The Terrapins will get a win in Week 4 to improve to 3-1 on the season. Things are about to get tougher for the Terrapins, however, as there’s only B1G games remaining on the schedule after Week 4.
