Tai Felton sheds tacklers, scampers 75 yards for 2nd TD vs. UConn
Tai Felton is really, really fast.
Maryland’s senior wide receiver has found the end zone not once, but twice so far in Maryland’s matchup against UConn. Felton caught a quick pass near the sideline, made a few tacklers miss and turned on the afterburners for touchdown No. 2.

Felton, who hauled in 48 receptions for 723 yards and 7 touchdowns last season, is so far sitting at 7 receptions for 148 yards and 2 scores so far today. The Terps lead UConn 43-7 with just under 10 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.
As expected, it’s been all Terrapins today. The Huskies have had no answer for Maryland’s offense, which has totaled 231 rushing yards and 373 receiving yards thus far. QB Billy Edwards looked poised for the Terrapins, throwing for 311 yards and a pair of scores.
Maryland will improve to 1-0 once the final bell rings Saturday. They’ll be back in action next weekend against Michigan State.
