Taulia Tagovailoa has been taken out of Maryland’s Week 7 game against Indiana due to injury. He was quickly carted off the field and taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
The injury did not look good with a defender for Indiana rolling into Tagovailoa’s right knee while it was planted in the ground. Tagovailoa went down quickly and needed to be carted to the locker room.
The ESPN broadcast updated that Tagovailoa was helped by multiple people into the locker room and will be evaluated further. It is unclear what the next steps will be, but it looks like his afternoon is over.

At the time of the injury, Tagovailoa had 270 passing yards and 3 total touchdowns against the Hoosiers with Maryland facing a 3-point deficit. Right now, the main concern for the Terrapins is the severity of the injury and how long Tagovailoa might be out.
