Tayon Fleet-Davis is flashing more of his potential this spring.

In Saturday’s spring game, quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa hit Fleet-Davis on a short pass that resulted in about a 10-yard gain. But it wasn’t the yardage that was impressive, it was the running back’s ability to make the catch one-handed while turning his body downfield to get a nice chunk of yardage.

Here’s the clip from the spring game that had people talking:

Fleet-Davis will be playing in his fifth season for the Terrapins in 2021. He appeared in just one game last season, totaling 26 rushing yards and 17 receiving yards on 11 total touches in Maryland’s loss to Rutgers.

Over the course of his career in College Park, Fleet-Davis has totaled 615 rushing yards, 244 receiving yards and accounted for 10 total touchdowns. He’s expected to be one of the big weapons the Terps have on offense, especially as they look to replace running back Jake Funk.

Maryland’s spring game was scheduled for 12 p.m. ET on Saturday, but will air on Big Ten Network at 4 p.m.
