Aside from the Antoine Brooks interception, Maryland had to throw some shade on social media as well:

Texas entered the game as the No. 24 team in the country according to the AP Preseason Poll and becomes the first ranked team to lose in the 2018 season. As Maryland mentioned in its tweet, another year of Texas on the schedule wouldn’t be such a bad thing.
Maryland trailed 29-24 going into the fourth quarter and then a delay took place. The delay may have been exactly what the Terrapins needed. Ten points were scored in the final quarter and Maryland scored all of them.
The Terrapins will look to go 2-0 against Bowling Green on Sept. 8 at Bowling Green.
