WATCH: Maryland DL Jesse Aniebonam blocks punt, returns it for score vs. Temple
Maryland hasn’t had a successful afternoon against Temple.
Through three quarters, the Owls owned a 28-7 lead. With roughly 8:30 remaining in the game, Maryland got a stop, forcing Temple to punt. That was one positive.
Another positive came on the next play.
Temple attempted to punt, but Maryland defensive lineman Jesse Aniebonam not only blocked it, but returned it for a TD to narrow the deficit to 14.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound senior lineman showed his athleticism on this one. A couple more plays showcasing Maryland’s talent would certainly be welcomed by Terrapins fans to close out this game.
