WATCH: Maryland executes incredible trick play to perfection for TD
Maryland, and true freshman WR Jeshaun Jones, cannot be stopped.
The speedy WR scored the first points of the season for the Terrapins with a 28-yard run early in the first quarter. He took a handoff on a sweep around the left side and blew past Texas’ defense for his first score. Jones would later add another touchdown with a long reception.
Believe it or not, Jones was still not done before halftime. Maryland handed the ball to Jones in what appeared to be a sweep around the right side. This time, Jones pulled up and threw a strike down the field.
The spiral may have been a bit wobbly, but Jones still found Taivon Jacobs in the end zone for his third score of the game. Maryland Football shared the play on Twitter:

Not only is Jones killing it, but the Terrapins have the Longhorns on serious upset alert in the first half.
