WATCH: Maryland has four 40-plus yard TDs vs. Illinois in first three quarters
Maryland-Illinois is a matchup between two Big Ten teams unlikely to win the conference.
Despite that, the Terrapins are dominating at home. Especially when it comes to big plays, Illinois just can’t stop Maryland’s offense.
In the first quarter, the Terrapins scored two 40-plus yard TDs and then another took place in the second. In the third quarter, Maryland WR Jeshaun Jones took a quick hand-off 43 yards for yet another big play resulting in a TD.

Jones has big-play ability. No doubt about it. This run marked his second score of the day against the Fighting Illini.
But it’s not just Jones. Maryland is pouring it on and currently lead 42-12 in the third quarter. The game can be seen on BTN.
