What a game it has been for Maryland against Ohio State.
The No. 10 Buckeyes certainly haven’t looked like they are deserving of their ranking in this game, as Maryland has been able to run the ball at will. But aside from the rushing attack, the Terrapins’ defense has been opportunistic as well.
Just before the first half ended, Ohio State RB J.K. Dobbins was looking to get into the end-zone to tie the game and he ended up fumbling, resulting in a 24-17 Maryland advantage going into the final 30 minutes. The Buckeyes ended up receiving the second half kickoff and again, Maryland’s defense would come up big.
Here’s a look at what happened not even one minute into the second half:

Maryland DB RaVon Davis made the most of Haskins trying to fit the ball into a tight window, and returning the pass 30 yards into the end-zone to make it 31-17.
