Maryland’s group of running backs might be the most underrated in the country. Three guys who rushed for at least 300 yards a year ago, led by Anthony McFarland, return for the 2019 season.

That includes Tayon Fleet-Davis, who toted the ball 75 times for 331 yards and five touchdowns for the Terrapins last fall. He looks like he’s ready to improve on that total heading into the 2019 campaign.

As Maryland continues to improve in fall camp, Fleet-Davis showed off some of his new moves during practice. That includes an impressive spin move that looks like it’s straight out of a video game.

After making the move that sent a defender to the ground, Fleet-Davis was able to coast into the end zone. Hopefully we see some of this from the Terp when the season starts:

That move came after a reception for Fleet-Davis, an aspect of his game he’s hoping to improve this fall. Last season, he caught just four passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.

If he improves as a pass-catcher, Fleet-Davis will only increase the number of snaps he sees during the season.
