WATCH: Ty Johnson hits incredible career milestone with 65-yard TD run
Ty Johnson is a remarkable talent.
The Maryland RB has done a lot over his career with the Terrapins and Saturday highlighted all that he has accomplished. In the first quarter against Rutgers, Johnson broke off a 65-yard TD run to give the Terrapins a 10-0 lead:

The run itself of course was impressive. Johnson’s got great vision and speed. We already knew this.
But with that 65-yard scoot to the end-zone, Johnson accomplished a milestone that not many Minnesota players ever have:
With that run Ty Johnson becomes the 4th Terp in history to record 4,000 all-purpose yards!

Torrey Smith, LaMont Jordan and Stefon Diggs are the only other players in program history to get to 4,000 all-purpose yards. There are some pretty good names on that list, to say the least.
Now, Johnson is a part of it.
