Michigan vs. Iowa

The first Michigan-Iowa game came in 1900 when Iowa beat Michigan by a score of 28-5 in Detroit, Mi. The two teams only played a handful of times for much of the 20th century, but have played more frequently since 2000.

Michigan and Iowa squared off in the 2021 Big Ten Championship Game. Michigan won in a rout, besting the Hawkeyes by a score of 42-3. The Michigan offense was prolific with plenty of players scoring against Iowa both through the air and on the ground. The Michigan defense was suffocating holding Iowa to merely a first quarter field goal.
