4-star SF commits to play for dad at Michigan
Michigan got a big-time hoops commitment on Wednesday afternoon and it shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone.
Jett Howard, the son of Wolverines head coach Juwan Howard, has committed to Michigan per Joe Tipton.

All of the crystal balls on 247Sports had him going to the Wolverines which also isn’t a surprise.
Howard is rated as the No. 12 player in Florida for the 2022 class and the No. 11 small forward overall. He’s also the No. 37 player for 2022, regardless of position per his 247Sports Composite ranking.
Howard had interest from a lot of other top programs around the country, including Florida, Georgetown, LSU, NC State, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee. When those schools are competing against someone from his family though, it’s basically curtains and Howard made sure to close those with this announcement.
The Wolverines now have the No. 2 recruiting class in the B1G and the No. 9 class overall for the country.
