No. 6 Michigan got a big 21-17 win last Saturday against Penn State. There were several big performances from players on both sides of the ball that contributed to the win.

None had a bigger impact than senior defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who accounted for 7 total tackles, 3 sacks, and 3 tackles for loss. Hutchinson teamed up with David Ojabo to consistently harass and terrify Penn State’s Sean Clifford all game long.

Hutchinson was already named to the Senior Bowl’s Defensive Player of the Week for his huge performance. Now, Hutchinson is the Rose Bowl Game’s B1G Player of the Week for Week 11.

In 10 games this season, Hutchinson has accounted for 42 total tackles, 22 solo tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, 2 pass breakups, 2 force fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery. Hutchinson is currently the sixth overall rated 2022 NFL Draft prospect by ESPN’s NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. His presence on the field has been highly disruptive all season long against the opposing offenses.
