Aidan Hutchinson pulled down another interception Sunday afternoon, adding to an impressive rookie campaign for the Michigan product.

This time, the interception came off the arm of Justin Fields, noted former Ohio State Buckeye. With Fields looking to make something happen on the final play before halftime, Hutchinson dropped into coverage near the sideline.

Fields forced the issue and never saw Hutchinson, giving the DE his third pick of the year:

Hutchinson also has half a sack and a fumble recovery in the game. Entering the game, Hutchinson had 7 sacks and 2 interceptions, bringing him up to 7.5 sacks and 3 interceptions with the Lions.

According to NFL Research, that ties Hutchinson for the most interceptions by a defensive lineman in a season during the Super Bowl era. He is also the only NFL player this season with 5+ sacks and 3 interceptions.

We’ll see if the Lions can sneak into the playoffs, but Hutchinson is looking like a budding star for the Detroit defense.
