Aidan Hutchinson is off to a strong start to his NFL career with the Detroit Lions. It also doesn’t sound like he’s going to slow down anytime soon.

Talking to the media on Thursday, head coach Dan Campbell praised Hutchinson’s work ethic and ability to learn. Campbell referred to the rookie pass-rusher as a “sponge” and said Hutchinson continues to be “all business” on the field.

“I told my wife this last night, I was like, ‘You know what’s great about him is he’s quietly getting better right in front of us,’” Campbell said Thursday. “He doesn’t say anything, he listens, he’s like a sponge in there, he absorbs the information, watches how things are done and the way coaches want them done and then he’s got a motor and he goes.

“He just learns, and gets better every day, and you see it.”

It will be interesting to see what Hutchinson can accomplish during his first NFL season.
