Former Michigan Wolverine and rookie Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson accounted for a big-time sack on former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields in the final drive that helped seal the 31-30 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 10.

Hutchinson was able to get into the backfield to account for his first sack of the game and 5.5 of his rookie season. He finished the game accounting for 8 solo tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss and 1 quarterback hit.

Hutchinson has been one of the biggest and most efficient defensive players this season for Detroit. Through four games this season, Hutchinson has accumulated 28 total tackles, 19 solo tackles, 5.5 sacks, 4 tackles for loss and an interception.

He accounted for his first interception of his young professional career in the Week 9 win at home over the Green Bay Packers by picking off Aaron Rodgers in the end zone on a tipped pass.

Hutchinson is a serious candidate to win the 2022 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
