Aidan Hutchinson joins elite group with 3-sack performance for Detroit Lions
Former Michigan Wolverine and Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson has already joined an elite list within the two games of his NFL career. Hutchinson accounted for 3 sacks in the 36-27 home win over the Washington Commanders, joining Chip Banks (1982) and nine-time Pro-Bowler Julius Peppers (2002) as the only top 10 picks in the NFL Draft to account for 3 sacks in at least one of their first two games.
Aidan Hutchinson has 3.0 sacks entering halftime in Week 2.
He’s the 3rd top 10 pick to record 3.0 sacks in 1 of his first 2 games.
The others, Julius Peppers (2002) & Chip Banks (1982), each won Defensive Rookie of the Year.
