Everyone reacts to bad news in different ways. For Michigan Wolverine turned Detroit DE Aidan Hutchinson, the news that he was being put on the Lions’ injured list led to a change in his look.

Hutchinson said the ‘weird’ feeling being put on the injured list led to the impulsive decision to lob off his beard into a short goatee.

Hutchinson played college football at Michigan, where he was named runner-up for the Heisman Trophy.
