Aidan Hutchinson weighs in on Kenny Pickett's fake slide, rule change
Last week in Championship Weekend, The No. 13 Pittsburgh Panthers dominated their way to their first conference title since 2010 when they defeated 45-21 No. 20 Wake Forest. Heisman Trophy finalist in Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett had a tremendous game passing for 20-of-33 completions for 253 yards, two touchdowns, and a QBR of 78.1. He also rushed for 20 yards and a touchdown on six carries.
One of the best moments of the game was when Pickett ran for a 58-yard touchdown in the first quarter in a fake slide situation. While it was regarded as a great play, the NCAA has now made the fake slide illegal for running quarterbacks.
On College GameDay, fellow Heisman Trophy finalist in Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchison was happy for Pickett but was even happier that the move is illegal.
The move makes it harder for defenders like Hutchinson to make better decisions to take down the quarterback and potentially opens more room for a penalty of a late hit on the quarterback.

Do you agree with Hutchinson? Should the move be ruled illegal?
