Aidan Hutchinson’s performance has been lackluster this season, causing fans to worry.

Now 5 games into the season, Hutchinson only has 3 sacks, all from a first-half performance against Washington in Week 2. Hutchinson had 0 QB hits in the 29-0 loss to the Patriots Sunday, and only has 6 on the season.

Hutchinson played college football at Michigan, where he was named runner-up for the Heisman Trophy. As a senior in 2021, Hutchinson won several other prestigious honors, including the Ted Hendricks and Lombardi Awards.

Hutchinson set the team’s single-season sack record at 14 in 2021 while collecting the Lott IMPACT Trophy and the Chicago Tribune Silver Football.

Hutchinson was supposed to be an impact player, having been selected in the first round with the second overall pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2022 NFL Draft.
