Air date set for TV special documenting Michigan's trip to France
Michigan football fans still have one more Saturday to survive before the Wolverines return to the field for the 2018 season. But supporters can get a taste of football season a little bit early.
FOX Sports and Big Ten Network have announced that the television documentary Maize and Bleu: Michigan Football in France is set to air on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. ET. The show highlights the team’s trip to France in late spring.
The announcement was made via a press release. It will air on Fox Sports 1.
The special runs 30 minutes and highlights the different sites the team visited and other activities they encountered abroad. There are also recent interviews with players and coaches back in Ann Arbor.
In addition to the debut, Maize and Bleu: Michigan Football in France will re-air every day from Aug. 26 until Aug. 31.
Michigan travels to South Bend to play Notre Dame on Sept. 1 to open the 2018 season.
