Alan Bowman, former Michigan QB, announces Power 5 transfer destination
Alan Bowman announced Monday that he would be officially taking his talents to Stillwater, Oklahoma, travelling Southwest to join Mike Gundy’s squad at Oklahoma State.
This is a great move for the Michigan backup, who previously transferred to Ann Arbor from Texas Tech. Now, the 6th-year senior is back in the Big 12.

Bowman had his best seasons at Texas Tech before transferring to Michigan. He totaled over 5,000 yards passing with 33 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He threw just 11 passes for the Wolverines, completing 8 for 69 yards and 1 touchdown.
Oklahoma State will be a great fit for Bowman, too. The Cowboys just lost longtime starter Spencer Sanders to the transfer portal and Bowman will battle former walk-on Garret Gundy and a 3-star incoming freshman for the starting job in his final year of college football.
