Sure, Kenny Allen might be called a “specialist.” But at the very least, the Michigan kicker is a versatile specialist.
Allen proved that when he filmed this video of himself launching a 75-yard punt and following it up with a 60-yard field goal:

Based on the fact that you can see the midfield logo where Allen starts from, his measurements don’t appear to be in question.
Allen has showed off range before, but never quite like that. Last year, drilled three field goals of 40-plus yards, including a 47-yard kick in a blowout win against Northwestern. Allen’s only career punt went for 57 yards.
The third-team All-B1G selection is entering his final season in Michigan. With the graduated Blake O’Neill and only two other possible punters on the roster, Allen has been campaigning to earn both jobs.
It’s a small sample size, but Allen appears up for the task.
