There are certain things that just seem like a bad idea.
Standing under an icicle isn’t smart. Drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth probably isn’t the wisest choice, either.
Let’s add “upsetting Michigan fans in Ann Arbor” to that list.
Athlon Sports apparently only sent Michigan State covers of its annual college football preview magazine to an Ann Arbor store:

It’s unknown how many Michigan fans that upset (besides the owner of the store).
The “chip on the shoulder” narratives would be off and running if the situation was flipped. But for now, there haven’t been any reports of Michigan covers dominating the newsstands in East Lansing.
In Athlon’s defense, it appears to have been a simple misunderstanding. All signs point to the mistake being corrected.
Let us know which store in Ann Arbor and we'll get this corrected before there's a riot.

Update for Michigan fans: We are working to resolve this. But it's a distribution outlet error (editorial team doesn't pick where they go).

If that’s not a sign that college football season is almost back, I don’t know what is.
