Another Michigan defensive player announces departure, will enter transfer portal
Another Michigan defensive player announced their departure into the transfer portal. Cornerback Andre Seldon Jr. is the fourth Wolverine defensive player to enter the transfer portal.
The 5-foot-8, 173 pound Seldon Jr. arrived at Michigan as a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 161 in the country, the No. 11 overall cornerback, and No. 4 player from Michigan in the 2020 class.

Seldon saw limited action at Michigan, playing vs. Northern Illinois this season and against Rutgers in 2020. Linebacker Anthony Solomon and defensive backs Darion Green-Warren and George Johnson are the other Michigan defensive players who recently entered the transfer portal.
Michigan finished the season with a 12-2 record, reaching the College Football Playoff and falling to Georgia in the semifinals. The Wolverines’ lone loss in the regular season came vs. Michigan State on Oct. 30.
