Big ups: Hassan Haskins leaps over defender, sets up scoring drive for Michigan
Racing out to a 17-0 halftime lead, the No. 19 Michigan Wolverines came to play in the first half vs. the No. 8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
One of the most exciting plays of the first 30 minutes, sophomore running back Hassan Haskins took flight on a 20-yard gain early in the second quarter.
The Big Ten Network shared video of Haskins’ display of athleticism:

Michigan totaled 169 yards in the first half with all but two yards coming on the ground. Leading the charge, Haskins has racked up 73 yards on his 11 carries.
Scoring both of the game’s touchdowns, freshman Zach Charbonnet has ran for 69 yards on 12 attempts.
Trying to navigate the rainy weather in Ann Arbor, senior quarterback Shea Patterson was only asked to throw the football four times in the first half; he completed two of them for 22 yards.
Struggling to get anything at all going, Notre Dame has accumulated just 52 yards on 28 plays (1.9 yards per play) vs. Don Brown’s defense.
Turning to the passing game more frequently than the Wolverines, Irish senior quarterback Ian Book connected on just 4-13 passes for 32 yards.
This matchup is currently airing on ABC with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit on the call.
