Blake Corum claps back at CJ Stroud over comments on Michigan-Ohio State outcome
Michigan running back Blake Corum didn’t appreciate Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud’s comments on Wednesday.
Stroud spoke about the loss to the media on Wednesday and confirmed that the team had a flu bug going around before the game.
That reached Corum a few hours later and he fired back with a statement about excuses being for the weak.
“Excuses are tools of incompetence used to build bridges to nowhere and monuments of nothingness, and those who use them seldom specialize in anything else,” Corum tweeted. “Go Blue.”

Michigan beat Ohio State for the first time since 2011 on Nov. 27 and it got the program to the B1G Championship Game for the first time in the Jim Harbaugh era.
The Wolverines put up 42 points on the Buckeyes defense in a 15-point win before blowing out the Hawkeyes last Saturday to win the B1G, 42-3.
Michigan is now in the College Football Playoff for the first time and will play Georgia in one of the semifinals on Dec. 31.
