Blake Corum praised the red zone defense of Rutgers after Michigan’s Week 10 victory.
The Wolverines had trouble scoring in the 1st half, scoring 14 in the 1st quarter and 0 in the 2nd. After the game, Corum was asked why the Wolverine’s offense had trouble punching it into the end zone.
“Rutgers, they had a stout defense,” Corum said. “You know, they knew what they were doing in the red zone and on the goalline, so you know, kudos to them.”

Corum, who is 3rd in the B1G in rushing yards, had a slow game by his standards in Week 10. While the RB ended with 109 yards, this was his lowest rushing total since Week 3 against UConn.
At the half, the Wolverines trailed the Scarlet Knights 17-14. The 2nd half would be all Wolverines, however. The Wolverines outscored the Scarlet Knights 38-0 in the 2nd half to win by a final score of 52-17.
