Blake Corum is back with another strong game for Michigan’s offense. He started the Week 10 game vs. Purdue off with a hot first quarter, scoring 2 touchdowns in the first 9 minutes of the game.

Corum is still making plays for the Wolverines, though he has not had his most efficient outing. Following Michigan’s latest drive, Corum has 44 yards in the game on 15 carries for an average yards per carry well below his normal mark.

However, Corum has been leaned on in the red zone and delivered his latest hat trick for the Wolverines. This time, Corum’s third touchdown of the game gives him 47 for his career. That ties Tyrone Wheatley for second in Michigan’s all-time record books for rushing touchdowns.

With 3 games and the postseason left to be played, Corum has a shot to chase down Anthony Thomas for the No. 1 spot, but the competition is about to ramp up for Michigan. Corum and the Wolverines will face Penn State next week before games against Maryland and  Ohio State to finish the season.
