Mike Hart, Michigan’s RBs coach, collapsed on the sideline during a commercial break in the first quarter of the Michigan-Indiana matchup.

After Hart was carted to the locker room, Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards were seen visibly shaken on the sidelines.

Hart was a star RB in college, and he is still the all-time leading rusher for the Wolverines. After a brief NFL career and a decade of assistant coaching jobs across the country, Hart returned to Ann Arbor in 2021 as the RB coach.

Before the start of the 2022 season, Hart was also given the role of run game coordinator. Hart has worked with Blake Corum, who is in the midst of a Heisman-worthy season. These running backs think highly of Hart and were deeply troubled to see him go down.

Luckily, Hart did appear to be conscious, giving a thumbs-up as he was being stretchered off. Stay tuned for more details.
