The worst case scenario has hit for Michigan fans.

Blake Corum, a Heisman candidate and star Michigan running back, will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury that requires surgery. Corum tried to play last week against Ohio State, but could not adequately play his game to his usual level.

It’s hard to put into words what a huge loss that is for a team looking to win a 2nd straight B1G title and compete for a National Championship.

Corum rushed for 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, sharing the limelight with Donovan Edwards on the way.

Edwards is dealing with some injury problems himself, but will now have to carry the load for the banged up Wolverines moving forward.
