Blake Corum is gearing up for a comeback season after a knee injury cut his season short in 2022. He’s also landed a NIL deal with a company co-founded by MLB Hall of Famer Derek Jeter.

Greatness Wins, an apparel company founded by Derek Jeter and Chris Riccobono of Untuckit, introduced Corum as the brand’s first student-athlete ambassador.

“Join us in welcoming the one and only (Blake Corum), the All-American Michigan Wolverines Running Back, to the Greatness Wins family,” the brand wrote in a post Friday morning. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with such a talented athlete who embodies our core values both on and off the field.”

In addressing the agreement, Corum noted he has worn No. 2 throughout his career because of Jeter. Corum called it “surreal” to get a chance to work alongside Jeter at this stage.

“After wearing the number 2 for my whole life because of Derek Jeter, it feels surreal to be working alongside him and the Greatness Wins team in this new chapter, as I head into my last season of college football,” said Corum per WWD.com.

Jeter also commented on what makes Corum great and why the agreement is a perfect fit:

“Blake’s talent, work ethic, resiliency and integrity make him an exceptional athlete and great teammate. At Greatness Wins, we talk about greatness being a mentality, and that’s a spirit that Corum shares,” Jeter explained. “We’re really looking forward to working with him and watching what he’s able to continue to accomplish.”
