Blake Corum listed as fast riser on On3 Sports NIL Valuation tool ahead of Week 5
Blake Corum is name that Michigan fans have known for some time now. His name is getting recognition around the country, and especially in the NIL world too per Jeremy Crabtree of On3 Sports.
In the last week alone, Corum’s NIL value has gone up by $225K. On3 Sports has his total NIL value at $665K at the moment.
Corum has NIL deals with M Den, Wolverine Boots, Michigan Army National Guard, Bon Bon Bon, Subway and Outback Steakhouse to name a few.
Through four games, he has 478 yards rushing and 9 touchdowns. Corum is quickly approaching his rushing yards total from a year ago (952), and is coming off a monster performance against Maryland in the Wolverines’ B1G opener.
Crabtree thinks that the Heisman Trophy could be in Corum’s future with the pace that he’s on. Here’s what Crabtree had to say about Corum’s recent rise in NIL value:
Michigan running back Blake Corum is one of the early stars of NIL in the Big Ten Conference with deals with companies like The M Den, Wolverine Boots, Michigan Army National Guard, Bon Bon Bon, Subway and Outback Steakhouse. But his On3 NIL Valuation continues to grow, largely because of his play on the field. He has already rushed for 478 yards and nine touchdowns through four games. Corum scored five touchdowns alone during their blowout against UConn. He then followed that up with a 243-yard, two-touchdown game in their Big Ten opener against Maryland. If he keeps it up, and the Wolverines keep winning, he’ll cement himself in the Heisman conversation and be able to keep cashing in on NIL deals.
Corum has been able to take the burden off of the Michigan passing game when it counts. He will now have to face the Iowa defense Saturday at noon ET on FOX.
