Blake Corum reaches elite career milestone with latest rushing TD vs. Maryland
Blake Corum hit a significant milestone on Saturday against Maryland.
The Wolverines are in College Park to face the Terrapins as they look to improve to 11-0 and set up a massive game against Ohio State on Nov. 25 that will decide the B1G East. The main off-field story in this one is the absence of Jim Harbaugh, as he continues to serve a suspension levied on the program by the B1G following its investigation into alleged sign-stealing.
On the field, Michigan was able to take a 7-3 advantage late in the 1st thanks to Corum, who punched it in from 2 yards out. Here’s the video:

Corum’s score was the 50th of his career. Only 2 other players in Michigan history have had 50 or more rushing touchdowns: Willie Heston and Anthony Thomas. It was also Corum’s 19th of the year, putting him 1 away from drawing level with Hassan Haskins and Willie Heston for 3rd-most in a single season.
