Michigan improved to 4-0 after taking down Maryland 34-27 on Saturday.

Although the Wolverines ultimately took the win, Maryland put up quite a fight. Led by QB Taulia Tagovailoa, Maryland capitalized on a key takeaway early to put the Terrapins up 13-10, the first time this season Michigan has trailed an opponent. Michigan struggled early on to keep pace with the Terrapins.

One individual that didn’t struggle was Michigan RB Blake Corum. By halftime, Corum already had 132 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. Corum had career highs in both carries and yards and ended up finishing the game as the first Michigan running back to have over 200 yards rushing in a game since 2017.

After the game, Corum had some thoughts about the matchup, sharing that the Terrapins were “a great challenge.”

The No. 4 Wolverines improve to 4-0 on the season and will face another B1G opponent next Saturday as Michigan takes on Iowa.
